Microsoft has laid out the process to get a disc copy of Halo 5 Guardians for customers who purchased the Limited Collector’s Edition. On the side, we have information on the Day One patch useful to all players.
We’re sharing the instructions verbatim below.
1) Open the Contact Us page.
2) Select “Chat with Microsoft Support” to chat with a support agent.
3) Once you’re connected, inform them that you want to exchange your unredeemed digital code for Halo 5: Guardians for a physical disc.
4) You'll need to provide the agent with the following information:
a. Your Xbox gamertag
b. Your email address
c. The token's 25-character code
d. Your address for shipment
5) Once the order has been placed, you should receive your disc, along with a code for you to redeem the additional LCE content (Warzone REQ Bundle and Halo: The Fall of Reach), within 3-5 business days.
@crazyherb9 The MP update (includes map content) is 9GB.

Regarding the day one patch, it contains the multiplayer component so it comes in at a hefty 9 GB. It’s not clear why 343 chose not to put so much multiplayer data out of the disc, but maybe it is some genuinely last minute patches.
@crazyherb9 A journalist friend of mine has completed the campaign without the multiplayer update, review is pending multiplayer component.

While this isn’t an official source, it seems that the full single player campaign is on disc, and so you can just get to playing through that first while you download the patch.
Halo 5 Guardians will be released on October 27 exclusively on Xbox One.
