Sony may be aiming to cut the price of the PlayStation 4 in Europe, according to point of sale materials and retail brochures.
Reports suggest the new European price will be €349 from Wednesday, October 21st, down from €399. The reduction follows similar cuts in the US and Japan.
The reduction comes a week before Sony's press conference at the Paris Games Week event, where the platform holder is likely to make a big deal out of the cut.
Sony's price shift may see a similar response from Microsoft. The Xbox One, despite launching at a higher initial price due to the inclusion of Kinect, now regularly sells for less than the PS4.
