The first trailer for the Ratchet & Clank movie has appeared online, and can be viewed above. Based on the footage, it seems the transition from console to cinema hasa been pretty smooth indeed.
Ratchet & Clank’s film adaptation appears to have maintained the series’ trademark balance of sci-fi action and humour.
The voice actors for Ratchet, Clank, and Captain Qwark are all reprising their roles and are joined by the voices of Rosario Dawson, John Goodman, Sylvester Stallone, and Paul Giamatti – each of whom will take on a role to tell the story of the eponymous duo’s origin story.
Ratchet & Clank developer Insomniac Games will also be releasing an updated version of the original game on PlayStation 4 with updated graphics, new abilities, weapons, and areas. Both the movie and game will be released in 2016.
