In Home Free You Play as a Lost Dog in a Randomly Generated City

October 13, 2015 by Stephen Daly

You’re barking up the wrong tree.

Home Free has been announced for PS4, the game sees you play as a lost dog in a randomly generated city and players need to find shelter, food, and both human and canine friends as you try to return home.

The game is currently seeking crowdfunding on Kickstarter, and while the goal of $50,000 has been met, a number of stretch goals still wait to be unlocked.

At the time of writing Home Free has amassed $66,000. At $80,000, cats will be added to the game while reaching $100,000 will see corgis, dachshunds, and basset hounds introduced.

Home Free has been in development for two years and developer Kevin Cancienne writes on the PlayStation Blog that he believes it will take another year to complete.

Backing the game now will earn you a digital copy of Home Free when it releases on PS4.
