Rise of the Tomb Raider has gone gold and is ready for printing on physical discs by manufacturers, developer Crystal Dynamics announced today.
“The entire team challenged themselves to improve on the last game that millions of fans enjoyed so much, and we believe we have created a worthy sequel to Tomb Raider 2013,” said head of product development and western studios at Square Enix Darrell Gallagher in a statement.
While the main game may be complete and ready for disc manufacturers, Crystal Dynamics has plans to add additional downloadable content to the game after its release on Nov. 10. This will come in the form of a DLC season pass and microtransactions.
Last week it was announced that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be getting an Xbox One bundle with a 1TB hard drive, a copy of the game, as well as a copy of its 2013 predecessor Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released on Nov. 10 this year for Xbox One and Xbox 360. A PC version is set to follow in early 2016, and a PlayStation 4 version in late 2016. If you haven’t seen the game in action, you can check out ten minutes of gameplay here.
