Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is the most anticipated game of Holiday 2015, according to research group Nielsen.
The group has published the results of its annual Nielsen Game Rank report, which is based on the "most sought after games" of the October to December holiday shopping period.
Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 tops the list, with Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Need for Speed, and Star Wars Battlefront completing the top five.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection leads the PS4 exclusives list, while the Xbox One honour goes to Halo 5: Guardians. PC players are most keen on StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. Yoshi's Woolly World tops the Wii U list and 3DS players want Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden. On Vita, the top game is Corpse Party: Blood Drive.
Scores attributed in the Nielsen Game Rank intend to convey the "overall anticipation level" for a particular game, with ratings based on awareness, purchase intent, consumer rating, and so on. Games are awarded percentage values, which represent the overall level of anticipation for a game in relation to "pre-release anticipation levels of all previous titles that released on the platform(s)."
4,800 gamers took part in the survey upon which this report is based, with an age range of 7 to 54. The survey took place between August 24th and September 19th.
All of the games featured have release dates between now and December 31st, 2015.
