He won’t admit it directly, but it seems that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will feature a familiar face to Law and Order SVU fans. Christopher Meloni is appearing in the main storyline as the game’s villain.
Oh snap. Doppelgänger said wha? #incoming!!! https://t.co/7FiYZu3F00

Meloni played and recently ended his tenure as NYPD Detective Elliot Stabler in Law and Order SVU. Some fans may also remember him playing Chris Keller in prison drama Oz, as well as his film roles in Man of Steel, Wet Hot American Summer, 12 Monkeys, and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Meloni is actually a versatile actor, taking roles as diverse as Spike in Jim Henson puppet sitcom Dinosaurs, Gene from Wet Hot American Summer and the fiancé from Runaway Bride.
He’s also brushed into other nerd pop culture roles, playing Colonel Hardy in Man of Steel and Hal Jordan in the animated feature Green Lantern First Flight.
Meloni has more than a passing resemblance, face wise and voice wise, to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 antagonist John Taylor. Taylor’s full story hasn’t been revealed yet but Treyarch hints at how the soldier augmentation program went wrong for him. On a scale of Captain America to Universal Soldier, we don’t know how wrong that is, but you will be finding out soon enough.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 releases on November 6 on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
