Darkest Dungeon Adds a New Region Called The Cove

September 30, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Comes with seven new monsters and two bosses.

Darkest Dungeon's latest Early Access update has introduced a new dungeon region, enemies, bosses, music, and more.

Titled "Those From Below," the update brings us the game's fourth dungeon, The Cove. It comes with seven new monsters, who have "many bleed-causing attacks". These enemies are said to be fast and bleed resistant, and there are two bosses to contend with as well. Complicating matters, these enemies will using healing and guarding abilities.

If you want to access The Cove, you'll need to start a new campaign as “Cove quests will spawn alongside quests from other regions.”

Details about the update, including game balance and other tweaks, are listed on the game's Steam update page.

The game not only requires players to fight monsters while making tactical decisions, but also forces you to deal with physical and mental afflictions such as fear or paranoia.
