In April, Final Fantasy XIV players were finally treated to the next big patch following the release of the Endwalker expansion in December. Patch 6.1 brought with it additional main story quests, the Myths of the Realm raid, various job adjustments, and a new PvP mode which has become incredibly popular. PvP was one of the rare parts of the popular MMO to be lacking, and many agree that it has now become one of the greatest parts of exploring Eorzea.
Along with numerous adjustments to PvP and Job Actions, the new patch has also removed a particularly annoying feature plaguing Eorzeans since the mass influx of players became an issue a few months back: automatic logouts. Those idle for over 30 minutes will no longer be logged out automatically as server congestion is no longer an issue.
The full Final Fantasy XIV 6.11a patch notes can be read below. Note that Black Mage will be seeing the largest change in this patch. More adjustments to job actions are expected in Patch 6.15.
