The latest update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will go live tomorrow and is bringing some new changes to the game alongside a number of bug fixes and improvements. As reported earlier this month, Update 1.5.2 will introduce a brand new building into the game’s Ravensthorpe settlement. The armoury is going to be available as of tomorrow, and although players will have to construct it themselves, once completed it will offer another set of long-awaited benefits in the form of loadouts.
Up to five loadouts will be available for players to make use of once the armoury is built and players have put their favourite weapon and armour sets on display. Most importantly, players will be able to switch into one of these displayed loadouts on the go, from anywhere in-game. This should make things easier for players wishing to swap their gear sets to suit different encounters.
The armoury will be ready for construction once your settlement is at Level 3 and will need cargo obtained from River Raids in order to build it. On the subject of river raids, the latest update will also introduce new rewards for river raiding, including new weapons and cosmetic items for Eivor.
Alongside the new features, a number of bug fixes will be addressed in this update and general gameplay improvements have been made. These include numerous issues with the game’s camera, UI and HUD, as well as fixes for graphics, animation and audio. Players will also now be awarded a Mastery point upon reaching Power Level 200. Which is nice. You can check out the patch notes in full over at the official Assassin’s Creed Valhalla website.
The patch will be deployed at midday tomorrow UTC/GMT, 1 pm CET, 7 am EST, 4 am PST, and 11 pm AEDT. Depending on your platform, you’ll need around 7GB of storage.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on Xbox Series S, Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PC and Stadia.
