A Moon Knight collaboration, a Star Wars collaboration, a rumored Ezio collaboration, and now a confirmed Pac-man Collaboration.
It seems like there is really no barrier for Epic Games’ Fornite when it comes to skins and content and to be honest, I’m not at all surprised as the game has a collective audience of 390 million active players across all platforms. THAT’S INSANE.
Epic Games and Bandai Namco haven’t officially announced anything, however, the official Japanese website explains that the collaboration between the two will begin on June 2, 2022.
Here’s what was said in the very short announcement:
“ The collaboration between the online games “Fortnite” and “Pac-Man” sold and distributed by Epic Games has been decided!
“ Items with the “Pac-Man” motif will appear. [Collaboration start date and time] June 2, 2022 (Thursday)
“ Please look forward to the follow-up report. Event period and contents are subject to change without notice.”
I’m sure that more of the information will be shared by Epic Games or Bandai Namco at a later stage but for now, all we have to go by is this post from the Japanese website. If you’ve got some extra cash lying around that you’d like to burn, the English Pac-Man website is selling patterned shirts. Check them out here.
