There are rumors that a new title in the Warcraft franchise is in the works.
The strange part of that rumor is that it comes straight out of China, via partner company Netease. Netease’s VP Li Riqiang jokingly referred to a seventh Dragon Ball (aka Warcraft game) to summon Shenron. The Warcraft Weibo account also posted what was essentially the words ‘I Am Back!’
Now, the claim that this would be Warcraft 4 has been dispelled, but there is a new Warcraft game coming up in China. The evidence now points to it being a Warcraft 3 remake. This version of Warcraft 3 could be in HD, and/or it could somehow have been redesigned to be free-to-play.
Still, there is a possibility that it could be a completely new Warcraft game, and one that could eventually hit stateside. What do you hope this new Warcraft game could be? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
