Life is Strange Episode 5 Releasing in a Month

September 21, 2015 by Stephen Daly

Dontnod has chosen to reveal the date on Max’s birthday.

Dontnod Entertainment has announced that the fifth and final episode of Life is Strange, titled 'Polarized' is set to be released on October 20th.

Producer Luc took to the Square Enix blog to announce the news, and noted that the studio usually doesn't reveal its episode launch dates until the team is 100% ready. However, they decided to celebrate protagonist Max's birthday, which takes place today, with the news.

Luc added, "Many things can change in the lead up to release but the team are working really hard to try and hit this date. We know the wait may be a bit longer than some of you were hoping for but we want to ensure Episode 5 is the best it can be."

The studio is encouraging fans to express their thoughts and anticipation for the final episode using the #LISFinale hashtag on their various social media channels.

We were pretty taken with the first episode of the game and it's only gotten more thrilling since. The last episode, The Dark Room, ended on quite the cliffhanger so it'll be interesting to see how Dontnod wrap things up.
