Bungie’s latest weekly update comes with details regarding Destiny’s latest raid and the return of Xur.
The raid The King’s Fall seems to assume you have already taken out Oryx. You join a team of six in entering Oryx’s dreadnaught to take on his long awaiting forces. It seems implied Oryx has forces in the thousands, if not millions, giving players the chance to reenter the raid near infinitely.
Xur is no longer the default loot drop who had everything you needed, as he was in year one of Destiny. This time his selection is a bit limited, but we think you will like this change.
Every week Xur will have one specific Exotic Weapon or an Exotic Engram for sale. This allows Bungie to ensure all players get a chance to acquire those harder to acquire exotics.
Xur will also have a new consumable called the Three of Coins. This consumable increases the chances you get Exotic Engrams and Exotic Weapons from bosses. You can buy multiples of Three of Coins for a cumulative effect.
Xur will also sell Legacy Engrams, so if you missed Year One Exotics, like Mythoclast and Necrochasm, you can get them on The Taken King through these.
