Wargaming has confirmed plans to release its highly popular free-to-play online multiplayer game, World of Tanks, on the PlayStation 4. Like the PC version of the game, the game will be supported by microtransactions.
The game's project lead TJ Wagner says that the studio is making a tuned experience of the game for the platform, which will be released with new custom maps, custom tanks, custom skins, and more. The game will also include content from the popular Japanese anime Girls und Panzer.
The PS4 version of the game is set to support Share Play, PS Vita Remote Play, and livestreaming.
Players will not be required to have a PS Plus subscription to join the fight online. Anyone with a PlayStation Network account can play the game.
