Rockstar Games isn't too happy with the BBC movie about the creation of the Grand Theft Auto franchise and the studio's fight against anti-video game lawyer Jack Thompson.
The movie covered some aspects of the controversy surrounding the release of the third game and the media uproar against violent video games during the early 2000's.
The drama, titled The Gamechangers, stars Daniel Radcliffe as Sam Houser and Bill Paxton as Jack Thompson. It aired today on TV.
In response to the movie, Rockstar Games tweeted the following from its official account:
@BBC Was Basil Brush busy? What exactly is this random, made up bollocks?

I wouldn't be surprised if Sam Houser himself made the tweet.
I echo their sentiment and will say that as entertaining as the movie might be, I'd much rather watch a movie about the franchise that's more grounded in reality.
The studio has since filed a lawsuit against the BBC.
