From Software has announced that it will be establishing a new studio in Fukuoka, Japan next month in a press release.
The developer says the new studio will focus on creating assets and won't substantially alter From Software's current or future developments.
From Software will continue to actively develop games for numerous platforms and the new studio will allow them to expand their development capabilities to help create globally competitive games.
The studio in Fukuoka will concentrate on making 3D CG assets for games while cooperating closely with From Software's original Tokyo studio.
While the studio is being established next month, it will begin operations in January.
