Keplerth is a 2D RPG that will be leaving Steam Early Access on the 24th of May, and a full release will be dropping in its place. But don’t worry if you don’t know anything about this game because the team behind it have also released a brand-new trailer. The game is currently available on Early Access for $14.99, so you should get down to Steam and give it a test before the 24th. Check out this trailer below.
It’s not every day that you need to survive on an alien planet all on your lonesome, but Keplerth offers that exact challenge just after you’ve awoken from a deep hibernation. There are no food and clothes, or any goods whatsoever, so it is up to you to start building a shelter, gathering resources, and crafting as many items as you can to help you survive on this strange planet.
The full release of Keplerth will include a few new features than what is currently available, such as a shelter management system and some monster invasions. Players will need to find several items that will aid them in their adventure, things like a special crafting table which will be your most useful ally, mastering this will allow you to increase the size of your facility and pump up the number of fellow survivors.
The monsters in this game aren’t just mindless villains though, they will set up camps near your base and try to siege yours at the right moment, so you must create traps and armed shelters to help protect your base.
One of the most interesting aspects of this game is through something called the follower system, this allows players to create a Replica, which is a follower of immense power that can be armed with weapons, aiming to help you whenever you need it – what a great little buddy it could be.
It really is a fun little game that excels with its quirky character and hours of endless strategic and creative builds. The 24th of May cannot come quick enough.
