Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2016 releases tomorrow on the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PS4. According to early reviews, the game is fantastic.
Today, the first reviews of PES2016 have been published, and publications are praising it for its innovative gameplay.
Videogamer.com states that many of the niggles they had with the previous version of the game have been fixed, such as the input lag that made it difficult for players to pass the ball. This new lag-free gameplay allows skilled players a lot of freedom on the pitch.
"There's no delay, and no dissonance: if you know your team in reality then you'll know how they play, and you can replicate it here," they write.
Elsewhere on Ars Technica, the game is praised for its reworked collision system and powerful use of the FOX Engine.
PES2016 "does a better job than any football game in making ever player feel valuable."
