To promote the release of Super Mario Maker on Wii U tomorrow, September 11, Nintendo has released this video of Shigeru Miyamoto adorably answering a series of Mario-trivia related questions, including the all important riddle of who Bowser Jr.'s mother really is. THE ANSWER MAY SHOCK YOU. No, not really, but it will give you a case of the "aw shucks" because frankly this video is super cute. Miyamoto also settles once and for all whether Super Mario Bros. 3 was all "just a performance", and if Mario's namesake really is a former janitor at Nintendo, among other fan disputes, so check it out above.
Super Mario Maker, an in-depth level editor that allows players to create their own Super Mario Bros. courses, comes out tomorrow only on the Wii U. It coincides with the 30th anniversary of Nintendo this month.
