Mega Man may be heading to the silver screen if a report from The Tracking Board is accurate.
One of the most popular video game franchises of the all time, Mega Man is apparently receiving the full feature film treatment from 20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment.
The Tracking Board states, "20th Century Fox and Chernin Entertainment have started development" on the movie. The two companies are also behind the rebooted Planet of the Apes franchise.
Mega Man launched in 1987 for the NES and spawned dozens of sequels in the years since, leading to sales of more than 30 million copies.
