Naruto Storm 4 Brings Dual Sharingan Kakashi

September 4, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The ninja master has never been more powerful.

This isn’t a surprise at all, but Dual Sharingan Kakashi has been confirmed for the latest Weekly Shonen Jump magazine scans for Naruto Storm 4.

Of course, Dual Sharingan Kakashi is here because this is the form Kakashi used in the battle against Kaguya. Much like Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura have their greatest forms represented in the game from the fight with Kaguya, so is the case with Kakashi.

Dual Sharingan Kakashi manifests his most powerful techniques. Using the Mangekyo Sharingan, whose power he received from his best friend Obito, he can perform Kamui, as well as the rarest Mangekyo Sharingan technique, Susanoo.

Susanoo is essentially a giant summon made of the user’s chakra. The summon is an extension of the user’s will and can attack on their behalf. While the summon envelops the user, the user can choose to exit their susanoo’s body to keep on fighting, much like Kakashi has done.

The Kamui, on the other hand, is a transportation technique, which allows Kakashi to open up entrances to other worlds. His left eye Kamui creates a barrier that will warp anything that is within his line of sight. His right eye Kamui is even more amazing, as Kakashi uses it to make his own body invulnerable. Kakashi overlaps his body with a pocket dimension, so that he cannot be touched or hit. Kakashi can choose what parts of his body are affected by the Kamui, so that he can strike with his hands and feet not get hit back.

Kakashi combines the two techniques for a unique creation; the kamui shuriken. Kakashi’s Susanoo can create the shuriken, which are imbued with his transportation powers. The moment his target strikes an opponent, they can be transported.

No word how Cyberconnect2 has applied this, but it certainly will be interesting to find out.

Naruto Storm 4 will be released on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 4, 2016.
