Rocket League 1.05 Patch Detailed, Includes New Matchmaking Options

September 4, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

New matchmaking options, a music player and more are being added to Rocket League.

The newest update for Rocket League nears release, along with more DLC in tow. Bringing the game up to version 1.05, the update's contents were detailed in a series of tweets by the game's developers on Twitter.

Here's what's in store:

– Players on the PC will be able to filter out PS4 players from their matchmaking search.

– The update will add a music player interface to menu screens so players can cycle through tunes.

– A "Find New Match" option will be added to the Ranked endgame screen.

– Ranked Season 1 will begin with the launch of the new patch. Current pre-season leaderboards are incorrect as a result of their preparations.

The patch is out in "two weeks or less" for both PC and PS4 platforms.
