The final map pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation3, and PC, marking the end of the Activision’s Call of Duty exclusivity deal with Microsoft.
Dubbed Reckoning, the fourth and final DLC pack for Advanced Warfare includes four new maps and the conclusion to the Exo Zombies storyline that stars John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream), Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street) and Bruce Campbell (Burn Notice, Bubba Ho-Tep).
Below are the new maps and their official descriptions:
- Overload: With a grand view of downtown New Baghdad, the map's multiple levels and long perimeter site-lines highlight medium to long-range combat.
- Quarantine: The speed picks up in this medium sized map with its tight corners and open areas. The combination allows for any style of gameplay.
- Fracture: Search this map's large combat areas, cradled on the shelf of a glacier, to take refuge behind wind turbines and heavy equipment.
- Swarm: In this small to medium sized map, take position in war-scarred storefronts that provide plenty of cover over the streets of Seoul, South Korea, or flank the enemy through close quarter interiors in the center of the map.
Descent is the name of the final chapter of the Exo Zombies storyline that “takes players to a remote ocean Atlas survival facility as they encounter new ‘fused’ Exo Zombie enemies, and have at their disposal the Trident Reflected Energy Weapon.”
The Reckoning map pack was released on Xbox One and Xbox 360 early last month ahead of PlayStation platforms and PC due to the exclusivity deal between Activision and Microsoft when it comes Call of Duty content. That will change with the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 where the exclusivity deal will shift to Sony’s PlayStation consoles, instead of Microsoft’s Xbox consoles.
Reckoning is now available on all platforms where Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is available for an estimated retail price of $14.99 or free for those that picked up the Advanced Warfare season pass.
