2K Sports has shared a brief new video showing off the tattoo system in NBA 2K16.
You can put tattoos on both arms, the chest, back, neck, and both legs. From there, there are options to move, scale, rotate, and even layer tattoos and/or tattoo details on top of each other. The video shows off a small skull being moved in and out of a yin-yang sign. There will be 1,500 designs available, and the process of complete customization.
This may surprise you, but the tattoos look impressively realistic. This isn’t just a result of how well 2K Sports’ engine renders tattoo ink, but also how they render skin. It’s sufficient reason for gamers who were not even particularly interested in this feature to check it out, just to see how good it looks.
I know you may not believe me, so here’s what you can do. Click on the image below to see it full size at 1920×1080.
NBA 2K16 A Spike Lee Joint will be releasing on September 29, 2015 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows.
