2K Sports has shared a new trailer for NBA 2K16, simply called Winning.
Does the trailer betray Spike Lee’s touch? See and decide for yourself. It definitely does a good job of showing off the game’s star players, with small glimpses of them scoring, winning, and celebrating, in a collection of many little moments.
Cover stars Stephen Curry, James Harden, and Anthony Davis feature prominently in the trailer, as do the stars from the last two games, Kevin Durant and Lebron James.
As a fan pointed out, the trailer also takes some sneaky potshots at rival NBA Live 16. That game’s cover stars, Damian Lillard and Russel Westbrook, get dunked on and blocked, respectively.
NBA 2K16 A Spike Lee Joint will be released on September 29, 2015, for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
