Pokemon Go Fest 2022 Details Revealed, Tickets on Sale

According to the Pokemon Go website, the Pokemon Go Fest is intended to be a celebration of friendship and community. Everyone could use some friends, and along with this incredibly wholesome message, Niantic has revealed more information about the upcoming Pokemon Go Fest 2022 coming in early June.

Pokemon Go players will have the incredible chance to catch the Mythical Pokemon Shaymin during the event. Dubbed the ‘Gratitude Pokemon’ in the official canon, the Grass-type first appeared in Generation IV.

Players purchasing a ticket for the event will have added opportunities to catch rare and regional Pokemon. Tickets cost $14.99 and are available to buy now. These include access to event gameplay on both days of the event. Niantic has also announced that, for the first time in Pokemon Go Fest history, a special finale event will take place on August 27, 2022. Those buying tickets for the June event will be given a ticket for this unique event free of charge.

During the event, the following Pokemon will appear more frequently in the world. Many of these will also appear in shiny form.

Last week, Pokemon Go held its annual Sustainability Week event.

Pokemon Go Fest 2022 will take place on June 4 and June 5 from 10:00 A.M. until 6:00 PM. Recently, Niantic announced a new game called Peridot, with many describing it as a cross between Tamagotchi and Neopets. Players will take care of a virtual pet, engaging in daily tasks and quests.
