Genshin Impact Leak Shows Itto and Xiao Banner Reruns

April 27, 2022 by Carley Garcia

Save up those Wishes.

The recent release of the Genshin Impact 2.6 update was a doozy. Fans had been eagerly awaiting the introduction of Kamisato Ayato as a playable character, and we can only fathom how much money has been spent on Wishes to snag him so far. As is typical, fans are already looking ahead to the content coming next, with rumors and leaks as common as ever.

In a new post made to the Genshin Impact leaks subReddit, one user claims that Arataki Itto and Xiao will be having banner reruns in Version 2.7. The new Hydro user Yelan will appear during the first banner cycle, with Xiao appearing at the same time. Geo user Arataki Itto is said to be coming during the second banner cycle, where he will be the only character featured.

Fans have taken to social media to share their shock at a Xiao rerun. The character saw his first return in Version 2.4.

Many previous rumors have hinted that the new character Kuki Shinobu would be appearing along with Itto, as the two are part of the same gang of characters. Of course, any of these rumors should be taken with a grain of salt until HoYoVerse decides to make an announcement.

Ubatcha1, another very well-known Genshin Impact leaker, has revealed the official event art for Update 2.7 as well.

Across all platforms, Genshin Impact is estimated to have grossed $3.7 billion in its first year, the highest ever first-year launch revenue for a video game.

Last week, another leak revealed Collei as a playable character coming sometime in the future. The character, who hails from the Sumeru region, is rumored to be coming in Version 3.0. She has only appeared in the official Genshin Impact manga series so far.

Genshin Impact is available to play on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development.
