A free update for Zombie Army Trilogy that adds eight characters from the Left 4 Dead franchise is now available via Steam, developer Rebellion Developments announced today.
With the update, players of Zombie Army Trilogy will be able to play with any combination of the eight characters from Left 4 Dead 1 and Left 4 Dead 2, plus the original eight characters from Zombie Army Trilogy as they fight the Nazi zombie horde in 1945.
As a bonus, a free digital comic from British comic book publisher 2000 AD is now available to download that explains how the characters of the Left 4 Dead franchise are in Nazi Germany in 1945.
Those who do not own Zombie Army Trilogy can take advantage of a Steam sale on the game for 66% off, running from Aug. 20 at 1 p.m. ET through Aug. 24 at 1 p.m. ET.
Zombie Army Trilogy, a spinoff of the Sniper Elite series from the same developer, is a combination of Nazi Army 1 & 2 as well as a new, third installment of the game. It was originally released through digital storefronts only in March of this year, but later received a physical release in North America on July 21.
