Amiami has shared new images of Play Arts Kai’s latest figure for Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Introducing the Third Child, AKA Tretij Rebenok.
We have no confirmation if Tretij Rebenok is, like everyone suspects, the famous Psycho Mantis, but at least for now there is enough reason to believe it could be a completely different person. Tretij’s backstory indicates that he was sent to Cyprus in 1984, as one of several people tasked with killing Big Boss. Tretij would go on to have several more encounters with Big Boss.
Tretij’s design indicates a young man comfortable in his restraints. Instead of confining him, Tretij seems to be at home, even expressive, in his straitjacket. There may be no significance to this, but Tretij is also clearly barefoot.
