In March, a SteamDB leak sparked rumors that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection would be coming to PC in the summer. According to data, the title would be coming to Steam on July 15, with other games like Stray and Sonic Frontiers also seeing leaked release dates. While Sony has not officially given a date for the title’s PC release, Epic has beaten them to the punch.
The leak wasn’t correct, but it also wasn’t far off. According to Epic’s list of upcoming games of 2022, the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be added to the service on June 20, 2022. Hey, it’s still summer!
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was released for the PlayStation 5 in January. It includes two wildly popular additions to the long-running series: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and the standalone expansion Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. The PS5 release included 4K resolution, a higher frame rate up to 120fps, and improved visuals.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was originally released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4. Set several years after the events of the third game, it follows Nathan Drake, a former treasure hunter dragged out of retirement by his brother. Along with Nathan’s longtime partner Victor Sullivan, players search for clues to lead them to the location of Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure. The title saw incredible reviews, with critics and players praising its gameplay and narrative. It remains one of the best-selling PS4 games of all time.
Uncharted: The Lost Legacy was released in 2017 and is a standalone expansion to the fourth game. Players control Chloe Frazer on her search for the Tusk of Ganesh in the mountains of India.
The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will release for PC on June 20, 2022. This comes one month after the Uncharted film is scheduled to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray.
