The upcoming Doom title from id Software is set to offer map makers a powerful tool called SnapMap, allowing players the ability to create fully customized maps of their own to play in multiplayer.
Players will be able to share their creations with others through Bethesda.net, a new social platform for players to share Fallout 4 mods and Doom maps, among other things.
Today, Escalation Studios announced on Twitter that they'll be contributing to the development of SnapMap with id Software.
Very excited to be part of the new #DOOM! Working with the ultra talented folks at @idsoftware on #DOOM SnapMap!

This isn't the only project they're working on. Escalation is also developing the new Pass Time game mode for Team Fortress 2.
Doom is expected to be released in early 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
