Atlus USA has confirmed that Persona 5 is definitely seeing release this 2015.
The lack of any information regarding release right until now has worried fans, but Atlus USA’s John Hardin insists that the game will be ready for release in North America this year. Europe may also be getting the game this soon, but he talked a little bit about why they haven’t given a specific date yet.
This is Hardin’s full statement:
We are trying to get publishers locked in for our titles in EU and will announce things when they are locked in. We don’t want another Shin Megami Tensei IV or Devil Survivor Overclocked situation. We are very aware of what happens when we make premature announcements for Europe. At least I am. The only thing I can confirm for Persona 5 is 2015.
