Rocksteady has released the first gameplay footage of Batman Arkham Knight's upcoming 1989 Batmobile, which will be introduced to the game as DLC next week.
The iconic vehicle is based on the one seen in Tim Burton's 1989 movie. It's narrower and longer than the standard Batmobile in Arkham Knight and handles better. Rocksteady adds that tracks have been specifically designed for it.
In the above video members of the development team discuss the new Batmobile and the forthcoming Robin RA challenge map.
A Bat-Family Skins pack will also be released on PS4 and Xbox One next week, with season pass holders getting first access. All of August's DLC was developed by Rocksteady itself, unlike the first expansion A Matter of Family, which focused on Batgirl. That DLC was made by Batman Arkham Origins developer Warner Bros. Montreal.
PC players can expect an interim patch address the many issues crippling the game on the platform at present with a full fix still some months away.
