Mad Max: New Gameplay Details Revealed in Livestream

August 14, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

New details about Mad Max’s combat system and more have been revealed.

Mad Max developers Avalanche Studios hosted a livestream event last night to show off the game to gamers. The game, which is due for release soon, was previously showcased at Gamescom 2015.

The livestream went on for about 80 minutes.

In the livestream, Avalanche revealed details about the game's combat systems, which includes vehicular combat, some exploration, and all the customization options that will be available to Mad Max players.

Also showcased was the game's open world environment.

You can watch the footage below.

The game is expected for release on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 1.

Beyond the new gameplay footage, Microsoft has opened up digital preorders of the title for the Xbox One. If you buy the game before its release, you'll get The Ripper and the Grizzlegrinda Hood Ornament as in-game bonuses.

If you're planning to pick it up on the PC, check out the requirements here.
