Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Gets A Release Date

April 12, 2022 by Dani Cook

The game serves as a prequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes

505 Games has announced a release date for their upcoming action RPG, Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. The new game will feature town-upgrading mechanics, fast-paced combat, and a whole lot more. It also serves as a prequel to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes which is due to release in 2023. A trailer featuring a major boss battle was released by Gematsu, check it out below! The boss is a massive monster that almost resembles a two-headed Wookie with glowing eyes. It seems that the character design in Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is something to look forward to.

According to developers, “After a massive earthquake revealed Runebarrows deep below a town on the remote frontier of the Allraan known as New Nevaeh, fortune-seeking adventurers and merchants from across the world arrive. Among those hoping to find treasure, three star-crossed heroes come together. CJ, the Venerable Scavenger, and Garoo, the Beastman Mercenary, hope to mine the Rune Lens, a source of magic hidden underground. Isha, the Young Deputy Mayor, wants to rebuild her town.”

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will have players participate in “satisfying” combat that involves dashing in quick and striking enemies with climbing axes, a gigantic sword, or sorcery from a distance. “Topple imaginative bosses by swapping between each character and unleashing devastating Link Attacks combining each hero’s specialty, all while platforming through gorgeous 2.5D environments.”

Developers have created a game where players will “Scavenge dungeons and earn materials to reconstruct New Neveah to its former glory and reap benefits applying to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes when it releases in 2023.” Fans anxiously anticipating Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will definitely want to play Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising before its release next year.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will be available on May 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. It looks like every gamer will be able to easily access this action RPG.
