Larian Studios has announced Divinity Original Sin 2.
Details are sparse for now, but the developer indicates they will once again be relying on Kickstarter for development funding to complete the game. The Kickstarter will go live on August 26.
The first Divinity Original Sin was a Kickstarter success story, and a fine addition to the Divinity game series. You controlled two customizable heroes, the Source Hunters, as they traced a web of murders and conspiracies that rocked the Divinity universe. Divinity Original Sin was Larian Studios’ first turn based game, and touted cooperative multiplayer as well as fully fledged modding tools.
Larian already have a prototype for Divinity Original Sin 2 ready, and will be unveiling it at PAX Prime, which will be held at Seattle this August 28 to 31.
Here and now, you can already suggest and vote for what Kickstarter rewards Larian Studios should offer on their official site.
