Glass has a story reminiscent of every small town changed by industrialization and capitalism, with perhaps a slant towards a Silicon Valleylike narrative.

For centuries nothing more than a small seaside village, the area soon experienced an influx of developers looking for cheap living away from the big city. It was this that led to its development into a town, and then a city, but the march of progress was apparently halted when crime grew rampant within the area.
The profile alludes to several traumatic events, including the Years of Unrest and Agglomerate Wars. Apparently the pivotal event was a terrifying moment referred to merely as FY34. At this point now part of the nation of Cascadia, Glass was placed under control of CC Corp, with CC Corp Chairman Horton Byson promising to turn the area into ‘The Gem of The South’.
Glass today is described as a model town and a prime tourism area. Of course, this being Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, there is definitely more to the city than we are being led to believe.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst will be released on February 23, 2016 on Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
