The first PlayStation Plus Vote to Play initiative will begin this week, Sony has announced on the PlayStation Blog.
Vote to Play allows subscribers to choose from between three games, whichever gets the most votes will be available for free in the next PS Plus update, while the other two will be offered at a reduced price.
Voting runs from Thursday, 13th August, at 4.30pm BST/5.30pm CEST and will run until Monday, 24th August, at 4.30pm BST/5.30pm CEST.
The three games available during the first vote are Grow Home, Zombie Vikings, and Armello.
Grow Home, the previously PC-only action platformer from Ubisoft, allows players to control a robot called BUD as he ascends through the various levels. Zombie Vikings is, shockingly, a game about zombie vikings from the developer of Stick It to the Man. Armello meanwhile mixes RPG and boardgame-like strategic elements.
Once it's available, you can find the Vote to Play link under “What’s New,” “Notifications,” or in PlayStation Store and the winner will be announced on August 24th. The games will then be available from September 1st.
