Square Enix has released three new screenshots for Final Fantasy 15, which you can see below.
The screens follow new trailers released last week to mark gamescom and news that game director Hajime Tabata hopes to finish the game by 2016 – though Square Enix noted his comments did not confirm a 2016 release for the game.
It was also recently revealed that Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios is working on the game with Square Enix.
Final Fantasy 15 started life as a PS3 exclusive called Final Fantasy Versus 13 and was re-revealed during Sony's E3 press conference last year. It's in development for PS4 and Xbox One.
Check out the screens and their descriptions here:
Ido
An underground dungeon with an eerie atmosphere. For a long time, this dungeon has seen no traces of human activity. But is there something else currently living here?
Continent
The four continue their drive along the clear river, passing through the coniferous trees. Should they go full speed straight toward their destination, or take time and explore the surroundings? It is up to players to choose.
Lestallum
Lestallum, a city positioned in the lands of Duscae. Using Cuba as a motif for the design, the vibrant city is full of people and life. A large building that stands out is the hotel. It’s probably a good place to rest and relieve some tiredness from the long trip.
