Act of Aggression Introduces the Cartel Faction

August 6, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here’s what the Cartel faction plays like in Act of Aggression.

Act of Aggression, the upcoming RTS from Eugen Systems, has a new trailer out showcasing the game's third and final faction, the Cartel.

This future-oriented faction is a private military company sporting some of the world's most elusive prototypical technology, making it far more advanced than its rivals—tech-wise, in any case. They're kind of like Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Atlas.

They're major consumers of aluminum, one of the game's primary resources, and require a lot of the mineral to build their bases. Their units however rely on raw cash to expand their operations. These high-tech soldiers will be able to even cloak themselves once you go through the tech tree.

Additionally, the game sees the release of a new content update that adds a zoom-out function allowing players to zoom out 30 to 40% further and see more of the battlefield, along with a dedicated button for satellite view.

In addition to the new Cartel faction, players can also do battle on three new maps with the new free-for-all game mode.

You can play the game now if you pre-order the game ahead of its September 2 release.
