Here’s what you will need to get the game running on your PC.

Avalanche and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have revealed the official PC requirements for their upcoming open-world post-apocalyptic action game Mad Max. The system requirements were posted on the game's official Steam page.

If you're intending to play the game on the PC, you'll need at least 6GB of RAM, a 64-bit operating system, 32GB of hard drive space, and a DirectX 11-capable graphics card from ATI or Nvidia.

Here's what you'll need exactly:

MINIMUM:

  • OS: 64 bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-650, 3.2 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 Ghz
  • Memory: 6 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660ti (2 GB Memory or higher) or AMD Radeon HD 7870 (2 GB Memory or higher)
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Hard Drive: 32 GB available space

RECOMMENDED:

  • OS: 64 bit: Win 7 SP1, Win 8.1
  • Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz or AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz

The video game Mad Max isn't based on the recent Mad Max: Fury Road movie, but it does feature the War Boys and other concepts from the film. It's slated for release on September 1 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
