It follows the release of a new trailer for the game earlier today, which was released alongside details of the game's eSports options. As was widely expected following Sony's timed exclusivity DLC deal with publisher Activision, Black Ops 3 eSports is ditching Xbox platforms for PlayStation.
PlayStation systems will have a 30 day headstart over other platforms.
The game's multiplayer beta kicks off on PS4 on August 19th and will run until August 23rd, there's no news yet on when PC or Xbox gamers will be able to join in.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 launches for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on November 6th, 2015.
