Following the announcement of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s PlayStation 4 beta starting date, we’ve just found out via Charlie Intel that Sony’s got an exclusivity deal for the multiplayer beta.
Those who went through the Black Ops 3 Zombies Escape Room Challenge at San Diego Comic-Con were rewarded with a swag bag that included a PlayStation Plus card that indicated that the Black Ops 3 beta would be a PlayStation Exclusive from August 19th to 23rd. There’s no word yet on when PC and Xbox One players can get in on the fun, but Activision said they’d be announcing the beta dates for those platforms soon.
This really is the year that a Call of Duty title favors the PlayStation 4, with this timed exclusive beta and early access to DLC. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 comes out on November 6, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
