NBA 2K16: This is How the Game’s CPU Players Will Work

August 6, 2015 by Stephen Daly

European teams and some kind of eSports league will feature in the game.

YouTuber Chris Smoove has released a new video detailing how NBA 2K16's CPU players will work in the game.

2K Sports has deliberately made all CPU players mediocre, so they won't dominate play. In the past if an opposing player dropped out it could actually make their team better as the CPU player took over and began to control the flow of the game but in a recent 2K livestream the developers said this will not be the case in NBA 2K16.

As such, you don't want to have CPU players on your team, as human players will have a clear advantage.

2K will also be balancing the game so tall players don't run at every position but quite how they plan to do this remains to be seen.

eSports and Euro-teams are also confirmed for the game.

NBA 2K16 will be released on September 29th, 2015 for PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One
