Xbox owners will soon be able to expand their console's storage space further with a 2TB official Seagate Game Drive, Seagate revealed today at gamescom, as reported by IGN.
The drive is designed to work with both the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One using a USB 3.0 connection to plug directly into a USB port on either system for plug-and-play functionality.
A separate power cord is not needed for the Xbox-branded device.
Seagate confirmed the drive will be available later this month from retailers including Amazon and GameStop for $109.99.
Both the Xbox One and the PS4 launched with 500GB HDDs back in 2013 but the two companies launched 1TB standard models this year. During its gamescom press conference yesterday, Microsoft announced a chatpad for the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
