June 9, 2015 by Stephen Daly

500GB model price cut to $349.

Microsoft has today announced a 1TB SKU Xbox One which will go on sale on June 16th for $399.

The 1TB model comes with the new Xbox One wireless controller, featuring a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, and a copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection in select regions for a limited time.

Microsoft has also announced that the price of the 500GB Xbox One model has been reduced starting today to $349 in the United States and select regions. The price cut is permanent.

Xbox One systems already support external storage support of up to 2TB.

On Monday, June 15th Microsoft will host its annual Xbox E3 media briefing in Los Angeles where you can expect to see Halo 5: Guardians and Forza 6. It was confirmed yesterday that Remedy's Quantum Break will not be present at the show.
