Sword Coast Legends Release Delayed

August 5, 2015 by Holly Green

Plus, fans who preorder will now receive a free copy of the first DLC chapter planned for the game.

Looks like that trip back to the Sword Coast has been delayed just a tad. As announced by press release today, Sword Coast Legends will now debut on PC, Mac, and Linux on September 29, 2015. Previously it was expected at the beginning of next month, on the 8th. The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions are still expected at the vague date of "late 2015".

Perhaps as a mea culpa, it was also announced today that players who preorder Sword Coast Legends will receive a free copy of the first DLC chapter Rage of Demons. Details on other pre-order bonus packs, which include statues, in-game items, and all sorts of other goodies, can be found on their official site.

Sword Coast Legends is under the direction of Dan Tudge, president of n-Space and director of Dragon Age: Origins. Check out our interview with him from this past May, where we discuss the development of Sword Coast Legends and some of its key features, including Dungeon Master mode.
