There have been plenty of Minecraft videos that have surfaced over the past year, but there are very few which manage to stand out amidst the crowd. Youtube movie maker dewtroid and his fellow buddies-in-Minecraft have re-created the very first level of Half-life 1 in Minecraft, once again validating the success of Minecraft as a platform for more than just building blocky homes.
In his video, dewtroid walks the viewer through the Black Mesa Research Facility in Half-Life, prior to, and leading up to the Resonance Cascade that inevitably rips a hole in the fabric of our universe.
With the exception of a few errant textures, the entire narrative is faithfully recreated in Minecraft.
