Rise of the Triad's heavy metal soundtrack was made available on Steam for $6.99 this Monday. Today, it is now available on iTunes and other digital download services.
The soundtrack, composed by Andrew Hushult, consists of 30 heavy metal tracks based on the original compositions in 1995. Only 20 tracks are available in the game itself, but the developers plan to add them into the game in a future update.
The news isn't quite as exciting as the reveal of a sequel to the game but ROTT's Dave Oshry says that Interceptor Entertainment has future plans for the game.
Speaking to PC Gamer, Oshry said that the studio has a bunch of things they want to do and are working on which "may or may not happen." The studio is committed to adding new features and content to the existing game this year and plans to reward players who pre-ordered the game or have been playing it since day one of its release.
The company also has plans for a "Ludicrous Edition" of Rise of the Triad that collects everything from the original 1995 release, the soundtrack, the 2013 reboot, the Extreme ROTT map pack, and anything else it can fit in, into a single package.
